‘THUNTURU’ - RAMESH ARAVIND AND ANU PRABHAKAR AGAIN!

The hit pair of Kannada silver screen Ramesh Aravind and Anu Prabhakar – known for terrific performances are teamed again in ‘Thunturu’. The hit pair worked in films like Srirasthu Shubamasthu, Shaapa, Snehaloka (Anu was pair to Ramkumar), Bisi Bisi films.

The difference in this film is that Ramesh Aravind is appearing without moustache for a few scenes in the film. Ramesh Aravind appeared without moustache in quite a few films but moustache is his asset. He was seen minus moustache in ‘Nammura Mandhara Hoove, Kurigalu Saar Kurigalu, Rangena Halliyage Rangadha Range Gowda etc.

On Wednesday the shooting for ‘Thunturu’ was going in one of the well constructed house Srinivasa Reddy house at Lingarajapura. It was not a house but a mini palace in its own way. Srinivasa Reddy a business tycoon in vinyl posters house was cynosure for all those living in that area of Lingarajapura. This house gets a link to Sakleshpur schedule. Ramesh Aravind, Anu Prabhakar and Rishika Singh took part in this second schedule that will go on till 15th of this month. The first schedule of this film was completed at Sakleshpur by director Mussanje Mahesh.

In the film this house is shown as Ramesh Aravind house by producer Somasekhar who made ‘Nanna Olavina Banna’ also acted in it is now in a small role in this film.

Nagesh Acharaya is shooting in the digital format for this film in 40 days shoot. Anil is making debut in this film is paired with good looking Rishika Singh.

Ramesh Aravind interested in doing serious roles

Ramesh Aravind, who is noted for doing comedy films, is gearing up to do some serious roles now. The actor is currently busy with Sandalwood projects Thunthuru (family drama) and Maaya (horror).

Thunthuru revolves around the beautiful relationship between a brother (played by Ramesh Aravind) and sister (played by Risheeka Singh). The movie also focuses on how a brother will fight for his sister when she is in trouble.

Maaya is based on real life incidents. Daisy Bopanna plays the female lead in it.

On being quizzed about his transition from doing comedy films to serious films, director and actor Ramesh said, “Though I have done a lot of comedy films, I have tried out all genres in Sandalwood. I have also done roles where I need to sacrifice my love interest towards the end, but I am bored of such roles now. I am looking out for serious roles.”
