Here comes Prem Kahani, the most expected album from ILAYARAJA.. Let us see if the songs take us to some love land.

Yarivanu Yarivanu – Nice melody with good beats. More over the singing from Bela Shande is good.  But this track is short.  Good one

Hodedavne – Rocking track of the album.  The tapanguchi beats will make you feel like dancing.  Especially the word Hoddavne will be haunting everyone..

Giliya mariyondu – Should sad songs be so boring?  Not necessarily, but this one is average.

Nannavale – Oh!! Another sad track..  This one scratches your head till it finishes..

Kogile Koogu Baa – This song initially may look like a very good song,   but as you move forward, you doubt whether Ilayaraja had any interest while composing.  Picturisation could lift this song. This may be a feel good song for some people..

Badavara manege – Am I listening to an Ilayaraja album?  This lullaby song is seriously average. Not lesser than any boring sad song..  What happened IR sir?

Shrungara Bangara – Average, Average..  These are the only words I can just say for this song.. Looks like a song during 90’s.  Where are you Raja sir? This is 2009..

Yarivalu Yarivalu – After listening to this, you will feel that the female version of this song “Yaarivanu” was far better.  The singing feels artificial as if the singer is making fun of the lyrics and tune..

Rangu Rangu - uh… finally some good music..  However, Ilayaraja struggles in this also..  But the song is good and has a soothing effect. This track gives a pleasant feeling.

Ilayaraja Sir, What happened to you is my only question. Your songs are excellent in Bhagyada Balegaara. But we did not expect this average stuff from you.  Were you not aware that this is a prestigious project of Chandru after Tajmahal?

Yarivanu, Hodedavne and Rangu are good but not best. This most awaited album is definitely not worth of its expectation.
