Nijaana Naanena

A neat composition by music director keeping
nativity in mind. No use of western instruments and has given
importance to melody with slow rhythm. All BGM bits are also good. It
remembers me some folk song. Good orchestration makes anyone to feel
the song to the core. Lyrics by S. Narayan and singing by Sonu is
excellent.

Sai Sai Chakora

Shreya
Goshal, wonder how did this talent came to KFI. Each of us will be
amazed to hear her modulations in this song. An energetic song which
has got all the elements in it. Simple rhythm and neat orchestration
makes us to listen more number of times. Chetan has also song well but
needs to improve a bit. Violin bit is good. Overall a good song.

Rating: 4/5

Kala Degula

This
song resemble a song from Josh or Jolly days. Again a medium pace song
neatly song by Chetan. More energy/effort should have put by the
singer. Compare to above two songs, i felt this is not upto the mark.

Ninna Prashnege

One
more melody song from Shreya Goshal. Anyone can feel the aroma of this
song just by listing to this song once. Credit goes to music director
for good composition. Shreya has tried to sing in a different style
than the regular one. At times, i felt the song has got the essence of
classical singing. Good use of instruments and the rhythm goes well
with singing and neat BGM bits.

Rating: 4/5

Ninna Prashnege

Good
to hear Shankar Mahadevan in a patho song after a long. Every time we
hear him singing an energetic or tapongochi song with fast rhythms, but
here it is entirely different. A medium pace song, sung in a decent
manner. Good use of violin throughout the song and music director has
put in his efforts to bring out this song effectively.

Rating: 3.5/5

Confusion

A
peppy number from Kailash Kher targeting youths. I should say, this
song is odd of the lot. Rest of the songs carries a decent/slow melody
and this one is fast one. Nothing unique in this song and after hearing
I felt the same as other peppy numbers.

Rating: 3/5

Since
all the songs are just copied and pasted from Telugu, it won’t feel new
for those who have already listened to it. Try out once if you are a
fan of Penga Pankaj or CC Narayan…
