ಎದ್ದೇಳು ಮಂಜುನಾಥಾ – audio review

ಎದ್ದೇಳು ಮಂಜುನಾಥಾ -ಚಿತ್ರದ ಆಡಿಯೋ ವಿಮರ್ಶೆ ಗಂಧದಗುಡಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯೆ ಸೀ (cee) ಅವರಿಂದ………

1. Arati Ettire Nam Kall Manjange: Idu title track – Manjunathange suprabhata haaDu. Jotege sahasranaama kooDa.
Very good composition from Anoop. BK Sumitra avra haaDugaarike uttama.
Anoop has his own version of the song that's not as good, and he makes
an appearance at the end of this song to say 'EddeLalo!' The lyrics are
what sets this song apart, very hilarious.

2. Prapanchave Devaru Maadiro Baaru:
Idoo kooDa erDu sala ide album-alli. Ondu MD Pallavi version, innondu
Anoop, and I like MD Pallavi a lot more than I like Anoop though he's
not bad either. Swalpa haLe kaalada bar dance music tara ide music, and
MD Pallavi sings it very well (like someone who's very drunk, sounds
great). Lyrics are ok.

3. Sinchana: Idu instrumental track. Very good music. Towards the end there's a male voice – Anoop? Tumba chennagide.

4. Kshamisu Gandase: BuTTo haaDiruva haaDu. This sounds like I've heard it somewhere – but quite good none-the-less.

InnuLdante, Rajesh Krishnan haaDiruva kuvempu avra haaDu 'Baa Chakori Chandramanchake'
was ok music-wise. Rajesh Krishnan disappointed me with his not so good
singing in the Janumada GeLati album, he's gone and done it again in
this song too. 'This is Our Manjunatha'
Anoop avru haaDida haaDu annokaagalla – he screeches out something
quite indecipherable. This too is quite ok in the background department
if the 'singing' can be tolerated. Good news is that it's a two minute
bit.

Summing up, this album is an unexpected (for me only) delight. 3.5/5
