About Us

We are a group of three people – Anil, Gokul and Govinda who came from different places, joined together to make this site. Surprisingly, three of our names’ letters can be found in our site’s name.

Gandhadagudi.com was started to provide a platform for Kannada Film Fans to discuss about films. We initially started off with a discussion forum. The site was started on 5th September 2005 (It was Ganesha Chaturthi).

We also had a static homepage providing highlights of the discussion forum, which was later removed. We designed Promotional websites for films like:

We later came up with a systematic homepage. We then decided to have film reviews and news updated on homepage. But this did not happen regularly since we all people behind the site have our own works and we started this site as a hobby.

Since June 2008, we are allowing some of the good forum members to contribute articles to homepage. At present, Akumar is writing film reviews, audio reviews and other articles on homepage. Currently we have over 1,200 members on our discussion forum. We have different categories like KFI main, fan clubs, Nadu-Nudi, Udyoga Mahiti Kendra, Non-filmi members adda.
